Lyon seem to possess a wealth of young talent in attacking and midfield positions right now, despite selling Fékir to Betis and Ndombélé to Tottenham in the summer. Moussa Dembélé needs no introduction on a United forum as he has been linked on and off with us since his Celtic and Fulham days, Aouar and Cornet are also quite well established by now, then you have Cherki and Caqueret and da Silva coming through the ranks. Bruno Guimarães is a recent addition to the team in a €20 million deal from Athletico Paranaense, and is widely rated as the best midfield export from Brazil since Arthur. Interested in seeing how he, and Lyon, develop in the near future — and whether they can hold on to all the talent as potential Monaco-esque challengers to the juggernaut of Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 over the short term — and beyond that, a decent presence in the Champions League...like they were at various points in the 2000s with Juninho, Cris, Coupet, Kallström and the progression of Essien, Benzema, Abidal, Diarra and co.
