I think the scale of this warrants it's own thread, how sick and deprived someone has to be to do this.

A renowned British crocodile expert has been jailed for 10 years and five months in Australia, after admitting to sexually abusing dozens of dogs, in a case which horrified the nation.
Warning: This story contains details readers might find distressing
Adam Britton, a leading zoologist who has worked on BBC and National Geographic productions, pleaded guilty to 56 charges relating to bestiality and animal cruelty.
He also admitted to four counts of accessing child abuse material.
The Northern Territory (NT) Supreme Court heard the 53-year-old filmed himself torturing the animals until almost all died, and then shared the videos online under pseudonyms.
His abuse went unnoticed for years, until a clue was found in one of his videos. Britton was arrested in April 2022 after a search of his rural Darwin property, which also uncovered child abuse material on his laptop.

What a fecking disgusting individual. How someone can get any type of pleasure from this is horrifying.

An expert in a species of crocodile that doesn’t even exist.

Special place in hell. That and the monkey stuff truly frighten me.

What would be the downside of shooting him? Sick bastard.

Disgusting individual. The details of the crimes are awful

sobering reminder of what can happen to ordinary citizens if they spend too long in australia.

fecking hell I just read that and wish I hadn't. It's sickening. What is wrong with some people??!!

You know you've done some seriously fecked up shit when the fact that you also accessed child abuse material is only mentioned in passing.

Britton began molesting horses at the age of 13.

He tortured at least 42 dogs, killing 39 of them, according to court documents. The files only detail his crimes over the 18 months before his arrest

he was abusing animals in a shipping container on his property that had been fitted out with recording equipment - which he called his "torture room"

He was only caught after uploading a clip in which he tortured at least eight dogs - all except one were puppies

The fact that he'll be out in 2028 seems mad.

Properly fecked in the head like.

I do feel as though he got off lightly.

I was dumb enough to read about the details of this case back when it was originally revealed. Bestiality and torture really doesn't cover just how depraved this man is, or just how heinous his actions were. Honestly the most vomit inducing stuff I've ever read about.

I’m sure nothing untoward will come from allowing this “person” (he’s an insult to people) back out in a few years time.

Scary that there is an online audience for this stuff aswell
"Oh the puppy fecker guy has uploaded another video, will watch that later while I have my tea"

Just read one of the more sordid details about
how he tortured 8 puppies to death infront of their mother and then fed her their remains

The fact that he will be let out in 4 years is ridiculous.

I remember reading and hearing a few times before that they reckon 1 in 25 people is a sociopath. The vast majority are very good at masking as normal people.

I might want to visit Australia in a few years time.

Who says this sick feck won't target a person eventually?

He should be executed - a good long execution as well. Revolting.

Believe it or not, that's putting it lightly.

I'm not sure he should be executed but he should be removed from society. How can you let this sick fk wander around. They should build a remote town somewhere and send all these sick fks over there for life.

I'm starting to think anyone with shipping containers or cargo trailers on their property should be investigated.

To be honest I couldn't stomach reading any more details. You are right, despite how shocking the media are reporting it at a surface level , the actual details are 10x worse. This guy is a proper scumbag.

@Wibble

31 years and counting and no sexual urges involving animals so far. But I'll keep monitoring just in case.

And surely this is a sentence that the journalist in question never thought they would write?

"None of his offending is alleged to have been against the reptiles."

That story is nuts. Not just the killing and abuse he himself performed, but also that it says he showed others how to do it and destroy evidence AND they found child abuse footage at his place as well.

We can only be lucky he didn't have power in politics bc that sounds like even worse than Mussolini levels of depravity.

It's nowhere near that. 1 in 100 at most. You might be thinking of the stats for leadership roles like CEOs.

Also, sociopaths aren't necessarily sadistic. certainly not to this level.

CEOs, Sociopaths. Same thing basically isn't it?

Seriously though I'll accecpt I could be wrong but I do remember it being 1 in 25, Though I suppose different studies will probably throw up different estimates.

I always think of the poor cops who have to watch this shit as part their job. He eventually slipped and allowed himself to be identified but jaysus how to do unsee that stuff
