British comedy, the 00s but a pale shadow of the quality of yesteryear?

If we go by the measure of the proportion of "classics" per decade when compared to the 60s through to the 90s [or those arguably so] that is.

Or am i too nostalgic, is that what you think?

QI - not really into that but it is part of this explosion of celebrity panel shows, 'Have I Got News For You' and 'Nevermind The Buzzcocks' were always great but now there is so many of these.

there must be other examples but without research I can remember what was 90s and what is 00s

Black Books and the Office have stood out for me. Extra's was pretty decent but I didn't like the second season nearly as much as the first.

No its my favourite. My dad used to watch wank sci fi all the time so it struck a nerve perfectly. It was impossibly endearing too.
