Thinking up of my next genius thread
I think we all know about 777s issues with the Everton bid etc but this could mean that there is not going to be a league next season and at least 2 teams (Manchester and Plymouth) are going to be out too.

Wonder what is going to happen, new owner of the league? Collapse of professional basketball in the UK? New league?

If the British Basketball League collapses then I assume the NBL will just assume its place. I can see it being picked up on the cheap though. Its mad given the attendance figures that it pulls in for the finals just how little promotion there is. It is the same for the EIHL and NIHL (Ice Hcokey). Milton Keynes and Leeds regularly get 2k+ every week, Blackburn will be positioned to do the same if they move into the top league as well and that is in the semi professional tiers. Just so much wasted potential for a lot of sports in the UK.
