BREAKING NEWS - Robinho signs Friday!

Brazilian Wonderkid is set to sign for United on Friday his agent had confirmed.

The 19-year-old FC Santos prodigy has been the revelation of the Brazil's domestic scene this season and most recently made headlines for setting up two and scoring one himself during his side's dramatic 3-2 final victory over Corinthians last week.

The outrageously-skilled striker has already been linked with several of Europe's elite clubs but Barcelona appeared to be leading the race for his $25 million dollar signature. United however have persuaded him that his career will be far more successful with the "want to be" European Champions than a team struggling to qualify for the UEFA Cup.

"I have confered with my family over whether I am truly ready to leave home," Robinho told Brazilian daily Marca. "I have to confess that I have always dreamed about playing for Manchester United as I believe that they are exactly the right team for me, they play the best football there is for a club team. I believe it is the best place for me. I will sign for them this Friday."<hr></blockquote>

Bloody hell!

Where did you get this from? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Dont know that much about him and to be honest I wont believe anything until he's on the pitch with Sir Alex holding the red shirt and scarf.

I will however be checking thru these threads very closely

When posting fake news reports, it is a good idea to make sure you spell words correctly. :D

ESPN reporter perhaps? :p

At the top it says "his agent confirmed" and in the article the quotes are attributed to Robinho himself.

The Sun and other tabloids do it all of the time, and people believe it. So I thought that I would do something similar to see what the response was. :)
