I was a bit bored so decided to look closer at how Ronaldo has scored this season, and I thought I'd share it with you as I know some of you like stats as much as I do:

Damn now I've forgot who it was against - and I even knew I'd get that question :D
It was where he got the ball after it had bounced around in the penalty area - he received it close to the goal at the left side.

The one where he hit it into the ground v Villa? Bobbled out to him around the penalty spot?

That one must be under his : "After corner"
 
He doesn't seem to score as many goals where he cuts inside and blast it bottom corner like last season, but the variety of goals is amazing.
 
These stats tell me nothing, except he's the BPITW.
 
Great analysis - A Top Red indeed!

Just shows what an all round player he is ... as there is no obvious bias in his stats vs Torres for example who has scored 85% of his goals at Anfield only.

Really, Ronaldo has developed into the perfect all round attacking machine. There does not seem to be any area that is lacking in his attacking armoury.

Think about it, we are all football fans, we love the game, and its so rare that a player like Ronaldo comes along ... His progress and development since he joined us has been nothing short of spectacular and to have witnissed it week by week, game by game has been a real priviledge.

Just as our previous phenomena Ryan Giggs is fading gracefully into eternal mythical status, so our next one comes along. I just so love supporting Manchester United. So so lucky!
 
About that "Other" - it's not against Villa either. Those goals are counted under low cross left and after corner (The heel)
And not the Fulham gaol either with the Vidic assist - but almost from the same angle - only closer to goal.
 
Found it! It was the 1-0 goal against Lyon.
A cross came in, Tevez had a shot which got blocked and Ronaldo then took the ball to his left and scored.
Didn't know where to list it.

No, only one of them - against Everton, a brilliant goal - the other one was against Kiev after making that cheeky flick.

It's interesting how all of the low crosses he's scored on, has been from the left side - and most of them has crossed by Rooney.

Many thanks. Interesting to see the breakdown.

Last season I can remember thinking that Ronaldo had missed a lot of easy chances. This season I get the sense that he has scored a fair number of straightforward goals; can't recall many misses. The key has often been his movement off the ball, sprinting into the box so that his marker is left behind when the cross comes in.
 
He's scoring too many tap ins for my liking :nono:

He needs to stop getting into strikers positions and start scoring 30 yard screamers again ;)
