Bramble signs

Confirmation that Titus Bramble has now signed his contract with Newcastle United, and joins for an undisclosed fee from Ipswich Town.

The defender has signed a five year deal after proving his fitness to the Newcastle medical staff following an operation on his foot.

He's taken the number 19 shirt.

Yeah. All good young players with plenty of promise for the future.
Shame United didn't try for any of them - but then again, they will get first team opportunities at Newcastle and probably not at Old Trafford...

True, Robson has made some shrewd buys, nothing spectacular but good value for money.

They look the closest rival to us, the Arse and dippers, certainly a more solid outfit than the Sheep at present- who will turn things around with the purchase of Barmby and maybe Emerton???
