Box Sets

South of The River Thames.
Winter time is coming up and I'm thinking of investing in a few dvd box sets, which ones do you guys recommend ?

Got a couple in mind like The Wire, Heroes and The Sopranos just wondering what people make of these and any other to get.
 
Heroes is pretty good. Sopranos is fecking awesome - I love that show.

Couple of other options I'd deffo recommend would be 24, Lost and Prison Break.

still game, top drawer comedy
 
I'd advise against Heroes, it just declines massively after Season One. I only saw small parts of seasons 3 and 4 but it was a shared view by most I spoke to.

If you need convincing to watch 24, you're not normal.

Just watch the first episode and you'll be hooked. Truly amazing.
 
Dexter, Lie to Me, Modern Family (not sure if this is a box-set but it's a good watch)
