Lots of talk up here about LB joining NUFC...I haven't met one Toon fan that wants him though.

Bowyer, on his day, is a fantastic player who has amazing energy levels and contributes goals too.

His problem at Leeds was with Ridsdale and, as things turned out, I bet he regrets leaving.

Bobby Robson is not shy at buying 'risky' players (Woody, Dyer, Bellamy...) and Bowyers girlfriend comes from up here.

He reached his peak when Leeds went on that great Champs League run...now he seems to have faded a bit.

Going to Newcastle will be a good move for him and will make Newcastle strong title challengers next season.
