If that's true, surely we should try to nick him from <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" /> , we need some cover for Becks and Bowyer would be great for that job.

Even if we don't get him, hopefully, we'd have driven the price up and make the Scousers pay a little more.

bowyer would be a PR nightmare for united.
as great as his price tag is, it would cost united much more than that in foriegn revenue lost in asia etc. bowyer and woodgate made world news with their exploits and i'm sure the united board knows this!
would be great... but not worth it imo!

i honestly don't see the appeal of bowyer, of course in scouse eyes he is now a 'world beater' but i really feel he is a poor mans scholes who can play wide.
nothing more :confused: am i missing somthing or is this guy just an over average prem player ?

You've obviously not seen much of him - no sky tv at school/college mate ? Still you'll get plenty of opportunity to watch him playing for England next season.

World beater?

He's a decent player, one of the best RM in the league, who has a bit of baggage..

I remain constant on him, in that he's a decent player who would improve our team, but I don't like him...

For all his faults, he's still a good player and would be an asset to either club. I wouldnt have minded him at United if Becks had decided not to stay.

I would like him to stay at Leeds long term more than anyone else in the squad. He is outstanding and will be very difficult to replace
