let me know what you think of this theory...
Bowyer is waiting to find out what Rio decides before making his decision over a move to liverpool.
I reckon that if Rio goes, Leeds can then afford to pay Bowyer the money he wants to stay at Elland Road. If Rio decides not to go, leeds still need money from somewhere and would basically push bowyer out the door.
for both players to leave leeds would essentially take away their two best players and leave them with feck all else in important positions (centre back, midfield) ! I doubt they'll want that.
what do you think?

bowyer leaving leeds has nothing to do with wage demands...and everything to do with the fact he hates risdale.

Bollocks squared..

Bowyer is running away from the assault debacle...

Since when is he stalling the move?

Both clubs agreed a fee on Friday. GH and LB have been talking today, and we'll hear the outcome over the next day or 2.

I'd call that stalling. How long does it take to sign a few pages? ;)

In a bank, 5 minutes, in football, a week or more.
:)

then why is bowyer "caught in two minds"?
if you can't find the story, i'll get it for you... can't be arsed at the moment.
i'm not saying my little theory is correct at all, but it's a possibility

No its not..

Its not a money issue..

Tel has said "caught in 2 minds" as it sounds better to Leeds fans than "Is determined to feck off to Liverpool"

Bowyer is waiting for nothing - that move has been ongoing since May.

Rio has said he'd like to wait to see if Man Utd qualify for the CL but more than likely will take the chance.

Both want out for similar reasons - stagnating careers, no trophies, club in the shite and heading in the wrong direction, etc. but neither is stalling.

I look forward to watching Bowyer make his debut in Le Havre on Friday night. :)

whatever...at the moment Liverscum are the only team buying, meanwhile we have been awaiting Rio's answer all bloomin' day!

and...
Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier hasn't given up on signing Blackburn's Damien Duff despite landing Lee Bowyer from rivals Leeds.

Several players are on the manager's wanted list and that still includes Duff.

"It is good to be back," said Houllier. "We have been busy in the summer and I am quite happy with the business we have done, but it is not finished yet.

i am patient. For me the fun over summer is the rumours and transfers of which apart from the young goalie we got amounts to nothing, therefore not much fun
