Meaningless, I bet he wasn't even arsed as well as the injury problems. It serves his career well to make the field look competitive rather than a one man show up until the Olympics come round that is.
Bad form, out of shape, not arsed, injury problems, starting his comeback trail. These are the words used about Bolt tonight and he still manages to finish 2nd and run in under 10 seconds.. Doesnt look good for the rest of the competition.
True. I'm not massively into athletics, but this really is a golden era for sprinting. Its great that Bolt has competitors of the calibre of Gay and Powell to keep him hungry. If he's in anything other than peak condition those two have a chance against him. Maybe he wasn't arsed coming into it, but that looked closer to an all-out effort from him during the race than his first WR run at the Olympics. Gay would have been a champion in any other era, and as it stands he's about as good a competitor to Bolt as you could wish for.
