Are we not even allowed to discuss Hillsborough or Munich? I suppose you'll be closing the memorial threads in a month or so?

I wasnt taunting the disaster - fecks sake, how many times did I acknowledge the horror and tragedy of the event?

I was asking a genuine question about the JFT 96 campaign. Why on a Manchester United board can we not discuss that? Why are you again protecting Liverpool fans? If I was taking the piss id of course understand, id be completely out of line. I wasnt :wenger:

Honestly cant see the problem with the thread mate, if Pool fans or others were interpreting it wrongly I cant do anything about that. It was a serious question with serious implications.

Van, you know and I know, what the inevitable outcome of a thread like that would become. You werent born yesterday and i certainly wasnt. It is a shame that we have had to have this policy, but quite simply these topics cannot be discussed without it spilling over and we end up clearing up the mess and banning half a dozen people. I really dont want to ban people so why dont you respect the rules for a change and stop creating clearly controversial topics?

In fairness, Van, your main criticism of the protest was that they should let it lie, rather than harp on about it. So, harping on about it is a bit twattish, isn't it?

When you start a thread of with a

It doesn't seem to be about discussing a genuine issue Van.

You were on the wind up from the beginning with perhaps a point hidden deep in there somewhere,

I understand it's controversial, but it wasnt as if I steamed in taking the piss out of Hillsborough.

Jaxson and his gaggle of Scouse idiots seemed pleased enough to go on about the protest and how dignified and important it was - why not close that thread? Cant you see the natural reaction to that is to ask - wait, what was it actually for?

If it spills over in to mud slinging over Hillsborough itself or Munich then I understand, but it never did, it was a discussed over JFT 96. Sorry but I cant spend all my time on here creating 'Best XI' or 'Is our squad strong enough?'. I really do want to know the point of JFT 96, and I think it proved my point when Liverpool fans could do nothing but object to the question itself, like Jason with Shields. I dont see why we arent allowed to challenge these things, if people act like idiots in response that's there responsibility. No one was anyway, it was all reasonable enough, I dont mind being called names or having false things thrown at me, thats normal, but I did want an aswer. Shame you have protected them from giving it, because I get the same response on a Liverpool board.

But ok.

Geebs, Van's got a point. I reckon you should give posters a little more freedom.

 Aw, did I hurt your feelings?

I did find the protest funny as well as embarassing because I really couldnt comprehend what it is you lot actually want, what justice actually is for you given an apology has been given and all the Sun staff of 89' are no longer there. You couldnt answer me, preferring to knee-jerk into more crying about how unfair it is to challenge these things.

Lets not start this again. I'm taking the high rd and leaving you to it. perhaps you can find a drunk homeless person. Put a liverpool shirt on him and discuss such matters to your hearts delight.

Cue the joke about being homeless already with a liverpool shirt. Yes you are that predictable.

Shut the feck up, the lot of you! Leave it.

GB is nice, he's trying to do the right thing, I'll feck you all out for a few weeks.

ive re-read the whole tone of that thread and i stand by my original feeling. The posts are loaded with sarcasm and trying to needle people into responses. The only way that thread was going to end was in bannings, so ive cut it early.
