I haven't seen this film in years but as usual at my cinema they are screening a 'classic' tonight, and they've chosen Blues Brothers.

I've only very vague memories of it, but would anyone suggest seeing it on teh big screen? From what I remeber it seemed a funny far fetched musical type effort - is that a reasonable description?

My favourite ever film. Would love to be able to see it on the big screen.

Plus the music is quality.

Elwood: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses ...
Jake: Hit it

-------------------------------------------------------

Mrs. Tarantino: Are you the police?
Elwood: No, ma'am. We're musicians.

--------------------------------------------------------

Elwood: Wasn't lies, it was just... bullshit.

You shall not regret it Jay.

Did you watch it then Jgray?

Did I bollocks - technical fault or somehing like that. My guess is again there were only a handful of us who had tickets and it wasn't working out for the cinema financially. They've re-scheduled it for the last Tuesday in July, so i'm going to make sure more people buy tickets for that!!

That then of course left me stuck with nothing to watch, the only hing showing that i'd not already seen was Ice Age 3D, that was only available to card holders so I thought why not. Bad move - i'm just not into that kind of stuff and it was a mistake i'll remember not to make in future!

Well I finally got to see this tonight at the cinema and loved every minute of it!

The comedy was great, the music even better and in all just a really good film to see at the cinema - too many parts to pick a favourite but those swat guys at th eend cracked me up with their "huh huh huh huh huh" everywhere they went.

great film

cant stop playing Ghost Riders in the Sky from Blues Brothers 2000.
