You seemed to enjoy it for two decades.
I’ve been thinking about this the week or so and I think this is how I’ve rationalised it.
- I have no control over it.
- I’ve supported United for 30+ years and I can’t just switch it off
- United will always be more than who owns it.
- I will celebrate our victories and success, it doesn’t mean I condone the owners politics
- I will never defend their behaviour or become a Qatar shill because I think it will paint United in a better light.
- I will never go to a match in “comedy Arab attire”.
What’s the alternative, not living?

QIB, the apparent investor, is a bank owned by QIA. According to Wikipedia, QIA also hold significant investments in Heathrow airport, Volkswagen and Barclays. The implication is that we should avoid/boycott these institutions too?
