David Beckham is poised to give Manchester United a major boost before their crucial Premiership clash with Arsenal by signing a new contract at Old Trafford.
The England captain will not play for United again this season after breaking a bone in his foot during the Champions League quarter-final against Deportivo la Coruna.
But fears that Beckham could move abroad will be allayed when he puts pen to paper on a new five-year deal at Old Trafford, reported to be worth around £23.5million.
