Don't know if this has been posted or discussed yet, but has anyone heard this (probably bollocks) story -- that Beckham has taken an injunction out against the News of the WOrld, which was planning to print a story about him having an affair with a lap dancer.

Anyone know anything? It sounds to me a bit like the Keano crap after he came home from Saipan.

That was a while ago I think. I very much doubt its true, and I'm glad the injunction was upheld, if this kind of shit, and the attempted kidnapping etc., carries on then no-one would want to be successful!

A friend of mine who knows people at the Times and BBC says that Beckham's lawyers were in the High Court yesterday to get the injunction for this Sunday's News of the Screws.

He said he has no idea if the story is true, but it is definitely true that the Beckhams have taken the injunction against the paper.
