Fratton Park, play up Pompey!
Right i'm bored and started playing my old Soul Blade rom, which as anyone who's played it will know, has a sensational opening video. So i thought i'd start a thread* celebrating the best opening videos to some classic games.

*That will probably end up containing hundreds of fail pictures

Very true, 8 doesn't get the kudos it deserves. It's always been in 7's shadow but for me it's the best of the lot, with 10 and 7 not far behind.

So many great moments in it, the assassination attempt and the build up to it, saving Rinoa as she's floating off into space, all the Laguna flashbacks and the link between all the characters. I think i'm gonna have to start playing it when i get back from work now!

I can't see any of them vids from this PC but Bioshock if it hasn't been posted.

More recently, Dead Space grabbed me by the jaffers. Having to leg it to a lift, without any weapons and with one of them 'things' chasing you. I nearly soiled myself. Especially as I had a dodgy bumper button on my controller.

This is not an opening, but on the DVD with the game.

Gemma Atkinson? Check.
Mr Sulu from Star Trek? Yes.
Verne Shillinger from Oz? Of course.
Jenny McCarthy? Present.
John Abruzzi from Prison break (when it was good)? What do you think!

I'll second Tekken 3

KING OF THE IRON FIST TOURNAMENT, ENTER THE TEKKEN!

Mark of Chaos is easily the best video game cinematography to date. Too bad the game was total garbage.

The guys that did Mark of Chaos could make a feature film with the quality of their work and make bags of money.
