Haven't listened to much new hip hop from this year other than the Elmatic mixtape, which was fecking excellent.

Which albums should I spend my evening stealing then? Youtube vids essential please.
 
Thanks for finally getting the ball rolling pal, I'm going to get stuck into both of those. That Reks track especially was a bit mint.
 
These guys are incredible. Some of the best bars I've ever heard in this one song alone. So many quotables. Their State of Lunacy album is a masterpiece.

 
I use that thread a lot mate, that's where I got Elmatic from. But in amongst all the gold, he does tend to mix it up with entire discographies, rarities by his favourite artists, as well as more obscure, experimental hip hop which I find unlistenable.

Thought it would be more efficient for my purposes just to have a straightforward best albums thread with youtube links. So far this has worked out the way I wanted.
