Post the best moments originally shown live on free-to-air TV and not paid services.

99 Champions League final
2005 Ashes
2008 100m men's final

What are the best sporting moments they have away for free?

2008 men’s Wimbledon final would have been on BBC, right?

It was. I still remember that whole evening and seeing even non tennis fans tuning in

Murray winning Wimbledon the first time was something very special. 2013 I think - watched it in the pub and even die hard tennis haters were glued to it.

10 min freeview of babestation.

Jonathan Edwards breaking the world record twice at the Triple Jump final 1995 in Gothenburg.

Not necessarily an all time great event but I remember watching Eubank v Benn on terrestrial TV - it sparked my love of boxing

It's sad just how many sports are now unavailable to so many people, especially youngsters who may well have been inspired by them but don't get that opportunity anymore

I finally remember being in a beer garden when super Sunday at the London Olympics happened. People who weren't really following it were glued to the TV as it started to unfold. It was a great atmosphere.
