Best end credits in a game

The portal ending was immense.

I did an ending once on a AGB/PS1 game, where if you cleared it on hard you played space invaders with the end credits as they scrolled down, which was quite amusing. I hadn't seen it done like that before and the Nintendo testers said they liked it.

Immediately thought of Portal when I saw the thread.

World of Warcraft.........oh wait a minute !

Actually Kinks... if you go to the middle of Dalaran, and click on the sign.... it shows you the end of WOTLK and its a great watch :)

One of the most enjoyable games I've ever played, and after playing it, those end credits really are brilliant.

portal is one of the very best games ever, i cant wait for the sequel

i loved the end credits to SFII when you completed it on the higher difficulties and you got the extended song with the demos playing in the back ground

choooon:drool:

me n my mate tony made up a little dance for it and everything :nervous:

Do you need Hl2 to play portal? Or can you just dl it on its own?

When we were kids we used to think the guy in the background of the Ken fight wearing the blue top always looked like he was stroking one out.

Street Fighter Alpha Ex 3, you get to beat the crap out of all these characters which I think are the makers of the game in big mode.

Well quite obviously...but more to the point, I'm clearly missing something about this incredible portal ending which seems to be - to the layman eye - a blank screen with some credits and an awful song...Can someone care to explain it's seemingly hypnotic hold on you geeks?

I think you need to play the game to appreciate the credits. You can't really understand it until you know the story.
