Even though they are ridiculously overplayed, those are still good songs. It's like saying that Football's comings home isn't a good Football Song.

I've always hated them, especially the Paul McCartney one. I think it's a really shit song.

Fairytale of New York and Merry Christmas Everybody are my favourite Christmas songs. There are a few other tolerable ones, but a lot of them are garbage and only have any sort of popularity because they're about Christmas.
 
I almost agree with Scrumpet, just move The Darkness into the "good" list for me.

And add the one by Mel Smith & Kim Wylde to the bad list.
 
Pogues all the way. It's like Gangs of New York meets Arthur 2: On The Rocks meets some fecking diddly-dee music played by black-toothed simpletons.

I hate that Pogues tune with a fecking passion. The Paul McCartney effort is abysmal aswell

Don't mind Last Christmas and I like Driving Home For Christmas
