The Bernard Manning RIP thread certainly caused some heated debate.

For those of you who don't know what the fuss was about, Channel 4 is showing a documentary - perhaps tribute or epitaph is the wrong word in this case - this Thursday, 12th July at 10.30 pm. It is entitled "Bernard Manning from Beyond the Grave".

It was made with Manning and his families' collaboration, so it might present an interesting perspective on the life of this controversial Mancunian.

I want to watch that

Apparently he admitted he's a racist in it

We'll see. In every single interview I ever heard or saw he categorically denied being a racist.

Bernard told jokes about anyone and everyone. Not just because of their colour. He told jokes about tall people, short people, fat people, people with big noses, big ears, old people.........

I will be watching that *** in my eyes the guy was a legend, he made people laugh, and that is a fantastic quality. Those who are easily offended, DIDN'T HAVE to watch him did they???
