After a relatively barren period - where the main outcome was developing players not quite good enough for United but able to play elsewhere - there certainly appears to have been an increase in players progressing to the first team in the last 12 to 18 months.
It seems like much good work has been done by Butt & co. to put the foundations in place (including a reassuring focus on psychology & ethics) but clearly that will always take time to generate results. So I hope this marks the beginning of a trend.
