Becks to do a Sol/Macca

Man Utd must be really kicking themselves for letting this contract business drag on for so long.

Last summer the club should have given Becks an ultimatum that he signs a new contract straightaway and that if he refuses to sign he will sold to the highest bidder. Should he refuse to leave then he would face 2 seasons on the sidelines. This would have major repurcussions on his UTD and international career especially with the World Cup coming up.

In my opinion he is playing a dangerous game and the longer we leave it the more his value will plummet. I think it's obvious that his advisors are looking for the Bosman option. Come this summer if Becks still doesn't sign then UTD will have no choice but to sell on the cheap. Who would pay 40m knowing full well they can get him for free in 7-8 months time.

We all had a laugh when Macca and Sol left on a Bosman so expect everyone to have a field day when Becks leaves.

A least one club would attempt a bid becasue they would all be afraid that he would not go to them on a bosman as so many clubs would be interested !

Panic bids would come in from Italy - i would count on it !

Firstly .. with Beck's ego and his personal sentiment and love to Man Utd, he ain't joining any local rivals I am very very sure !!! .. I mean, look around - who else u think he will fancy?!? .. i don't think hes leaving coz his situation is totally different to sol campbell or macca.
campbell was playing for tottenham,and tottenham faced the prospect of winnig nothing,macca at the time he left a liverpool team with not too much promise.
Beckham is leaving arguably the most successful man utd team ever.he said he doesn't want to leave so lets just leave it at that.
