Beckham or Keane as Capt?

Mine,well thats easy,Beckham anyday.

Calm,level-headed,reassured,England Capt,settled in the mind.

United need a new approach before its to late.
 
So, when he falls over everytime he's touched and he doesn't open his mouth do you think that will really "rally the troops". Keano leads by example, every week he's 8/10 - 9/10 and he sets the standards the others have to follow. WHo would you rather follow?
 
In my opinion Keano everytime.

Never hides, doesn't fall over, and isn't afriad to shout at his own to get them playing!

I agree that Keane should still be the captain, without question...

But the attitudes towards Beckham being expressed here are the same as those that were touted when he got named the England skipper and look at how he has proved himself in that role furthermore I'm surprised to hear people talk about Beckham and his lack of leading by example, in my opinion thats where his strengths as a captain rest.

Definately Keane, but don't write Beckham off by any stretch of the imagination.

The next few weeks are going to be one of Keano's biggest tests for a while. The ref's will be watching him more than usual, if thats possible. He needs to get his head straight, so if SAF gives the captaincy to Becks it could push Keano over the edge. If he thinks his manager no longer has faith in his leadership.

Keane for now and Becks possibly from next season
 
i wouldn't even choose beckham for england captain...and over keane? i think this deserves three green laughing men.

So won`t you at United. Keane will be a great captain for the next 3 years and Becks will follow him then.

When people talk about Keane being Captain of England if he was English,he can`t even Captain Ireland cus of his mouth.

Think of all the Irish people and players ne let down of the World Cup.

Not the sort of person you need in charge really.

'can't even'? What does that mean? Is being the captain of Ireland less than being the captain of England?

The only reason Keane isn't in the Ireland squad is because he is too professional and McCarthy is too much of an idiot.
