Manchester United have received mixed injury news ahead of their Champions League clash against Deportivo La Coruna.
England captain David Beckham has been passed fit but £30 million defender Rio Ferdinand will not play.
'I must announce that David Beckham will back to the team,' assistant manager Carlos Queiroz told the club's official website.
Ferdinand has had a thigh muscle injury while Beckham has been sidelined by a rib problem, and both have not played since the 2-0 ictory over Bayer Leverkusen almost a month ago.
Sir Alex Ferguson could stick with the line-up which beat Arsenal on Saturday despite Beckham's return.
The United injury list still includes Roy Keane, Nicky Butt, Laurent Blanc and Quinton Fortune.
