The only positive thing yesterday. Once in the first half Beckham bang the ball that is going out of the line strongly to hit the board outside. He can't hide his angry for the conceded goal and since then his passion was flowing high and hot. In the second half he began to run everywhere in the field just like when he was playing for England. I have not doubt that he will sign the new contract and stay!

You can talk about Beckham being a red until you're lazer blue in the face.

But there is only one way of him actually proving it....

by signing that bloody contract!

However, if Posh manages to get her plush new tv deal with Granada sorted then I doubt Dave will be going anywhere

there were no positives from that match, everybody played below par without exception

That is absolute rubbish, I take it you weren't at the game or you wouldn't speak such bile.

Jesus, what is it with you Asians and Beckham...

Go shag his statue or something instead of blurting out your dirty fantasies on here...

I take it you don't mean to have a racist undertone in your remark

Still funny though about that statue thingy <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

Nothing racist there...

Just find the Asian obsession with Beckham a bit feckin annoying!

much highly does jedi master rate jedi knight beckham...but in the game v. boro, that imbecile quite possibly cost us the game....all his ranting and four-lettered spewing at the ref in the first half probably swayed the man-in-black when it came to the handball decisions....at least one was definitely clear-cut, the one that forlan completely miscued and butt flicked up....and in the second half the clown was all over the pitch, getting in just about every utd player's way....as good a player as he is, becks is only human with emotional tantrums, just wish he'd keep em for the world cup!! ;) ...there's a limit to idol-worshipping players....

For a world class defender he should not have left Boksic behind him and walked towards the middle of the park. The ball was still in our half. School boy error. Despite that Veron should have cleared it up field.

Beckham is a red through and through. The fact that he hasn't already pissed off abroad and the fact that he has been noticably NOT manufacturing a move overseas this summer points to this fact. He simply wants the board to pay him a fraction of what he is worth and far less than a number of overseas clubs would pay him.

Just because you want to play for United doesn't mean that you have to be an idiot when it comes to pay negotiations.

I would be very disappointed if he didn't sign but I think he will. WTF do you have to do to prove your credentials to some of you lot. Earlier in the season some people on here were slaggin him off on the basis that he wasn't born in Manchester

Why?

Thailand sells more copies of a United newsletter/fanzine per week than people can fit in OT. United are revered round the world. If a United player is an icon somewhere outside Manchester why would that annoy you?

Or is it that people outside of Manchester aren't real fans and don't deserve an opinion?

Look it was a brutal performance and I saw the whole game live on the telly;it was lethargic and pretty pathetic to be honest when you consider what was at stake, and if one was to point fingers it would obviously be at our midfield ,lacklustre and without inspiration

i thought that beckham's reaction was disgraceful frankly, and worse than the incident which has just got thierry henry a 3-game ban.

i noticed your manager was quick to step in and berate the 4th official to try to detract attention from the fact that beckham was being completely unprofessional and had lost the plot....

It's very convenient to blame Veron for his gaff, but the truth is that we didn't put away our chances.

1. Giggsy's fires wide in the first half.
2. Ruud's shot narrowly misses right.
3. Diego's volley flies over the bar.
4. Giggsy's brilliant run & cross into the box is left unansered.
5. Scholes nets just over the bar.

Any of those could easily have been goals. It was just one of those days for us.

Bollocks

i think beckham is the biggest waste of good oxyegen i`ve ever seen. he has one or two good games and he is golden balls again, i`m sorry i think we should have took the 5o million real were offering and bought a deccent middlefielder and a class defender.

more laughable than the asians are the irish in this forum with their keane obsession and their ,based on jealousy, opinion of beckham.

Becks gets more respect on koptalk than from the irish idiots on this forum. Very sad and that people call themselves united supporters :( I respect and love all united players.

greetings jedi....unfortunately wibble, inclined is jedi master to agree with michael owen's mum about becks....he was going mental in the first half...he should keep his brain warm more often eh! ;) ...but must admit once he got his head down and worked head, he showed glimpses of inspiration, ahh what could have been...

Good Lad - Tar everyone with the same brush

:youraknob:

Gofukyurself Scorpian <img src="graemlins/yawn.gif" border="0" alt="[Yawn]" />

I think he was wrong in generalising all Irish Utd fans, but like it or not he's got a point...

For some Irish fans Keano can do no wrong, and for some Asians Beckham is God...

The type of fan I mentioned above will always favour his favourite and hence slag off other Utd players if things go wrong...

It's feckin annoyin for people without these biased views...

He hasnt got a point,hes a twat <img src="graemlins/yawn.gif" border="0" alt="[Yawn]" />

Well thought out argument that...

Well done!

Its not every Irish fan who says it, but it sure is a heck load more than non-Irish fans, from what I've seen here. In the case of this particular Irish fan, he seems as stupid and distorted as some of the worst malaysian fans.

At least we dont attempt to put forward arguments which are racially motivated, and by the way, Beckham although a fine player has never been or never will be in the same league as Roy Keane.

agreed

it's one of those frustrating matches we have once or twice in the season :(
