What's the motivation there for Beattie by the way ? He could still play UEFA with SOU .. So much so that Ginger-top is as crazy as Houllier, at least he's secure with his #1 striker in SOU ... why bother ?!

Oh, Shanks does agree that this is a typical Sun story , but Shanks disagrees that Beattie is crap. Though of course, Shanks would prefer Cisse.

There is a guy playing for a load of shite like Southampton, used to the Prem, banging in the goals. The other is a young guy, not looking as good as he did the previous season, not used to the Prem, etc....
