How on earth have Bayern Munich managed to buy Deisler(5.7M), Ballack(9-10M) and Ze Roberto (7.5-8M) for a combined fee of less than 24M pounds... What's with the pricing in Germany?.. or should I say what's with the pricing in England <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" />

It's a case of buying playes who all had 12 months left on their contracts and like ine Deisler's case a buy out clause that was very low imo

only one of them was entering the last year of his contract

As Roy noted earlier, they seem to be a brilliantly organized club. Sound spending policy, excellent results, etc...If only they played more attractive football--although with this years purchases, they probably will.

Bundesliga prices are low. Bayern's record signing isn't even 10m. Mostly, they buy from smaller clubs, but in the case of Deisler, Ballack and Ze Roberto, it's just the German market that is cheap for players.

ze roberto was entering the final year of his contract, ballack had a buy out clause and deisler had one, as well

both ballack and deisler received signing fees of more than 10m € tho
