Keeper isn´t a priority and Barthez is good enough. I´d like him to stay for one more season at least.

No he didn't sign a new contract. He has four more years though.

Anyhow, whatever happened to 'our two best players might be leaving'? Died and went to heaven so we need a new 'big story'?

Sounds like another pick of nonsence to me. I believe Yorkie's in the squad, so he's staying obviously...

I know people in a sports management company (and currently doing some consultancy work for them) who works closely with a number of North west club, especially Man United and Bolton.

Rustu is a quality keeper, but as I get to watch Fenerbahce regularly I can honestly say he is not as good as the World Cup made him look.

Likes of Poom and Hedman have both got a lot to offer aswell imo but come on can you really see Barthez leaving I can't and Im glad because he's got the ability to be the best in the world again

I'd say they're both up in the top 5 as well...I'd have Buffon over Rustu because of his age. If they were both the same age, then I'd have Rustu instead.
