Barcelona has just professed to sell Patrick Kluivert and Marc Overmars for a cutover price of 7 and 5 Million Pounds respectively.

Ruud's dream of paring with Kluivert could be on the making! Dont you think? :p
 
Wise man once said, dont believe everything you read. Besides if we werent good enough for Kluivert before what makes us good enough for him now? besides 7mil?? does anyone really believe that.

Other than PK, we need more proven quality players in the squad. Players like Mexes, Quaresma, Bellion, Escude or even Kewell (debatable), although are very good, they still lack some experience playing at the top level. Fergie must be thinking only about matching Real's ability right now. Given the transfer budget (15-20 mill. + money from selling players) who can we get so that we can definitely compete with Real. There is no contest if we are talking about Quaresma vs Figo or Zidane. IMO we need additinal quality in all department, striker + Midfield + defender + goalkeeper (1 each). There is a chance that we may see players like Phil, Fortune, Steward, Chadwick, Fab, and Ricardo leaving. Bargain buys are possible given the current financial situation in football, but we must get a couple of proven quality players with track record at the highest level.
 
Ruud and Paddy could celebrate their birthday together 1.7.1976. I think we should really go for Kluivert
