Transfer news Barcelona have

Barcelona have publicly declared that their summer transfer fund stands at €45million. V

Vice-president for economic affairs, Javier Faus, stated on the Catalan club's website:

"[Barcelona have] €45m for transfers, plus the money that can be obtained from sales [of players] in the close-season.

“When we speak about sales we will only consider those that are beneficial to the club."

Barcelona are thought to be preparing bids for Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas and Udinese midfielder Alexis Sanchez.

Oh, the joys of individual TV deals bleeding their league dry.

I really cant see Fabregas ending up at Barca if they're this limited in the Transfer market.

You'd think they need to stregthen other areas of the side before midfield.

Coincidentally...

Rumours from Spain suggest Fabregas is willing to snub more money from #AFC to be on less at #FCB

Yeah, I think most people would do.

Sky saying Wenger has finally sanctioned Csec to go to Barca

That'll all go on Cesc then, or most of it.

So then who could they sell to get the €30m for Sanchez?

They're also supposedly looking for a left back for around €5 - 10 million.

Will be interesting

I don't see any benefit for Barcelona in announcing their transfer funds, unless it's a way to fool clubs into lowering prices for the players Barca targets.

I think that's exactly why they're doing it.

Plus, they may be copying the Scousers and try to offload some of their shite* in part-exchange.

*obviously Barca's shite and Liverpool's shite aren't comparable.
