Barca to ditch Rivaldo/Kluivert

Several reports say Louis Van Gaal has agreed to take over at Barcelona again - but with the proviso that Rivaldo and Kluivert move on.
Should we be interested?

NO: Kluivert is to inconsistent & Rivaldo seems to have a looming injury which may still rule him out of the world cup (so @ this present time I would say no) but in saying that SAF is a known admirer of Rivaldo. The thought of Rivaldo playing @ OT is mouthwatering but again higly unlikely, given our transfer priorities this summer. :)

I really rather we have some mid-price-range decent signings this off-season and then groom them into stars ...</strong><hr></blockquote>

Reckon you're right on the mid-priced signings, solid defenders etc. But how about this....Rivaldo to OT and Seba to Barca? Its the only way I can see it happening. :D

According to a very well-placed and reliable KopTalk source (no, really), 'Seba' has indeed been offered to Barca in a deal that would see Rivaldo coming the other way. Three times.

And before you scoff, this guy broke the Van Gaal news after speaking to Gaspart well before it broke as a news story.

Maybe Roy Keane's talk of 'cover-ups' in the Man Utd camp isn't just the voices in his head talking again...

That Patrick is the biggest bollox talker the world has ever seen...

And you're stupid to believe you have to talk to Gaspart to find out footie news before it breaks in the press...

Reliable source my arse!

So says a man with 'Mikael Silvestre - Best Premiership LB' as his signature!

Patrick himself admits that he gets fed yarns which he then repeats unknowingly, but he seems to be an honest, believable guy. He gets slagged by some on KopTalk too, but overall I think most people see that he's no bullshitter. Certainly more informed than the average forumite!

He is actually that IMO, so I don't see what that has to do with this subject?

I don't care if he's an honest believable guy because the fact is it is clear from his posts he is a person who gets off big time on feeling important, hence his constant namesdropping and totally irrelevant comments about where he's been or who's he seen. Koptalk being Koptalk believe almost every word from this saddo!

I read quite alot of what he says and most of it is newspaper crap, this being no exception.

You continue being a naive moron though.

Kluivert misses too many chances to play even in the hole for anyone. Rivaldo on the other hand, simply the best in the World on his day. Fergie has chased him for 4 years to no avail! The man is class,. Speed, size, a lethal freekick , can play wide or central midfield or as and out and out striker/ as one in the hole! Also he plays his heart and soul out for his team.Fergie would not want him so bad if the lad was not incredible. Personally I think it's a dream but if Fergie succeeds in getting Rivaldo he would have finally replaced Cantona. Surely we would be unstoppable! Imagine us attacking with a United team like this:

Fab

Gary Nesta Blanc Silvestre

Keano

Becks VEron Rivaldo Giggs

Van nistelrooy

Bench:
Duff
Anelka/Forlan
Soljsjaer
Scholes
Butt
Finnan
Landreau

Mind boggling!! :D

Given your opinions on Silvestre - let's just say that they're 'unique' - I won't lose any sleep over this.

Thanks for trying to turn a light-hearted football debate into a personal slanging match. That takes character. Tara.

I would like to see Rivaldo come to Old Trafford, he can do things others say are impossible and can be a game changer which we needed last night, someone who can turn a game.

Rivaldo is injured too often.Wouldnt fit in at United.Cost too much and high wage.Getting old.
Not suiting the English style of football.

Great stuff!

You can take your Patrick bollox and stick them up your arse, ok!
