Anyone else up on this group? A very solid group of musicians and a great vocalist, put onto them because one of my favorite artists Kid Cudi samples their song The Funeral and i've been ever so impressed.

I knew there was a thread made in here when I was in the newbies that I wanted to applaud. It's only now that I put some BOH on that I remembered.

Fantastic band. The Funeral is incredible but if I had to pick a favourite it'd be this one:

Playing the Academy in Dublin on June 4th. Been waiting to see them for two years now. Can't bloody wait.
 
You should listen to them GP. Fantastic sound.

I have their album Cease to Begin, and ive heard a few other bits and pieces, a couple of good songs (compliments, is there a ghost) but its all just a bit too maudlin for me. Unless, their live show has a bit more soul about it? Always found that album, as well written as it is, was a tad to easy to fall asleep to or just turn off.
 
Yeah it was originally the Academy but due to demand they've moved it to Tripod. Another of my favourite bands is playing in Leixlip on the same night so I've to make a decision. I may go see BoH support Snow Patrol on the 5th if I can be arsed travelling to Bangor.
 


Must say General Specific and The Funeral are probably their best though. Listening to the general specific outside with some beer in the summer in chillen. :cool:
