Shocking instructions nd guide inside the box. Not just me either, sister-in-law bought it had the same problem.

You need a wireless wii controller for the drums, guitar and the microphone too. It doesnt tell you on the box or instructions that you actually need 3, and who the feck has 3 anyway?

Seemingly you can operate the microphone without one, but its not recommended.

Anyone got any tips?
 
You bought the game on its own with no instruments?

Edit: oh you mean wii controllers, you should have got rock band in that case

Uhh, yeah I think so. Lol

You have to put a wii controller inside the drums another inside the guitar, and a 3rd in the microphone, for the only reason, it would seem, to choose the options, which seems fecking ridiculous to me. As I said, who has 3 fecking controllers? Anyway, to set the whole thing up you can use the microphone without one, but they dont recommend it, it says on the box that the drums and guitar are wireless, hence need wii remote, but the microphone is wired, so doesnt. But once inside OHHHHHH its a whole different story.

My head hurts.

Yeah but only to hit the notes/chords on the game itself. Just had a few games witht he drums and mic hooked up, good party game i reckon, but you can control the game itslef, menu etc through the wii remote in the drums, so why they thought youd need a 3rd remote with a wired microphone god only knows, downfall for sure of this game.

No these dont, you have to actually place the wii remotes inside of the instruments, and I'm fairly sure this wasnt the case with the guitar hero game I played, ages ago mind.
