Addicts gather here. It’s a safe space.
Hardly seems fair to beat a bunch of blind people at poker."Balatro is a deck-building roguelite where you must play poker hands and earn chips to defeat enemy blinds."
Yummy crack cocaine thoughI’ve heard about this on podcasts and decided to stay the feck away as it sounds like crack cocaine.

I've only managed 7/8 antes so far. Does it go on forever or is there an end point? It's *so* great. I'm 60 stakes and 18 challenge runs down.

JesusStakes are not antes, so each deck can be played on one of eight different stakes, so 120 runs to win in total and I'm at about 60.
A run is 'won' at the end of Ante 8, but you can go into endless mode and keep going indefinitely* if you can score well enough. Ante 12 is where most decent runs go to die, though (the base chips requirement for Ante 11 is 7.2 million - for Ante 12 it is 300 million)
Highest ante I've hit was 14, with my best hand scoring about 7 trillion. Highest ante I've ever seen someone go to unseeded was 25, with a best hand of (number that has 84 zeros). It takes a lot of luck and a far better understanding of the game than I have to hit those kind of numbers.
*indefinitely in theory. Ante 39 is actually impossible because the score requirement effectively becomes infinite.

I got to the Boss Blind of ante 8 earlier but the Blind was extra large and I only got 175k out of 300k needed.
