On the Fans Forum yesterday it was explained why City tickets were so hard to get. There are 19,000 season ticket holders that are eligible to apply for Away tickets, normally about 6,000 apply giving a 1 in 2 chance (its randomly selected by computer now). Against City almost all 19,000 applied, so obviously the chances stretched from nearly 1 in 2 to 1 in 6 or so. Against Blackburn this weekend almost all who applied got a ticket as it wasn't much in demand. They are looking to reintroduce an element of loyalty into the selection method due to the pressure exerted in the Fans Forum and at the AGM.
