Not very work friendly.

Having a sneaky read whilst 'in between' jobs is not helped by pictures of Jo Brand and steaming turds.

Is there a way I can turn them off?

Use Firefox instead of IE, then block the pics

Agreed. I would be more embarassed about being seen with a Jo Brand picture on my PC than a big steaming turd.

I work mostly from home, I had an embarrassing moment when my 8 year old was sat next to me watching me post.

I'll try Kristjan's method.
