... I think I am watching one on c4 now...

They all seem the same to me.. Made cheaply, poor actors, and bouts of deadly silence for no real reason. The storylines never seem to evolve properly, and half the shit which goes on has nothing to do with it anyway....

This one MAY be based on a true story.

Oh, its called "Wolf Creek"

Anyone else think the same? :/ Or anyone else watching this?

If so, 1 bloke... 2 birds... shouldn't there be 3somes going on?

It seems alot of pointlessness so far... :p

But I am intrigued by it after reading its wiki page!

Wolf creek was boring as bat shit. Takes an hour and a half for anything to happen and its over 10 minutes later.

Now 'the Castle', 'kenny', 'crackerjack' and 'bad eggs'... there's some serious drama!

Wolf Creek is a bit shit tbf

Check out Priscilla, Queen of the Desert :)

Wolf Creek is one of the worst films i have ever seen. I hated it.

Mad Mad 1 and 2, Crocodile Dundee. That's about the only ones I can remember seeing/enjoying. There must be more decent films from Australia though surely?

Two Hands?

Only other decent movie I can think of.

I've seen two very good Australian films made in the 80s I believe, I still remember some bits from them but unfortunately I forgot what they're called.

Candy was alright, had a good scene where they re-enacted the Kennedy assassination using a cast of pigeons.

Australia used to make some great films but lately the output has been woeful.

The Sum of Us was a classic. Sunday Too far Away is an oldie but a goodie. Most of the new stuff is shite as wibble says.
Anything with Michael caton needs to be nuked.

Chopper is a great film. Based on a true story. I'm pretty sure that's the only Aussie film I've seen.

More or less summed up Wolf Creek there. You put up with the annoying, pointless beginning knowing that eventually something twisted is going to happen and when it does, as you said the film immediately concludes with practically no closure making you feel proper pissed off.
