I need your help

My work have an annual summer barbecue and i've been given the task of providing the music for it.

Now my music taste is somewhat different to what people would normally listen to, i have some mainstream tastes and some more eclectic.

Basically what i'm after are some good accessible summer tunes to have on a barbecue.

I've got a few of my own, but i implore my caftard brothers and sisters to list some really good summer barbecue tunes.

I'll post my own list when i've compiled it, but songs in the vein of

Jamiroquai - seven days in sunny june
Mungo jerry - summertime
etc

Here's what I do in such instances. I look through my 5-star rated songs on my itunes. Out of those songs, I pick the songs that almost everyone basically knows. That way, I kill two birds with one stone: getting to hear the songs I like, and appeasing the masses. In my experience, playing a bunch of bands/songs that I like, but hardly anyone else knows doesn't work out very well.

Good stuff guys, this is what im after. More!

To be fair, if you play kokomo by the beach boys then it won't matter what else you play- the audience will love you, they will be like putty in your hands. Greatest intro in the music world? Yes, I think so. A summer song that will melt even the coldest of hearts (you can use that line when you introduce it if you want)
