Alright... all I have to say is shut the hell up I'm getting sick of reading Roy got off easy or Roy shouldn't have been charged in the first place. I can see this issue will never be agreed on. Sure everyone has their opinions and message boards are the purpose of posting opinions. But honestly I look at the board 2 or 3 times a day (boring life i know) and the only shite that is on here is Roy is GOD or Roy is a disgrace... personally I think he is a fantastic footballer, no way I'd want to play against him. Honestly, his timing is a bit off sometimes (whether it's challenges or books) thats his only fault.. i think his positives out weigh the negatives...

everyone keeps posting the same stuff since this whole thing started isn't there anything more interesting to talk about. IMHO I'd like to get past this Keane Incident and have fans start supporting the squad that is trying to bring trophies back home. I know Keane is a part of that squad but as Captain he should've known that the timing of this book could distract the club from winning trophies. That is my only problem with Roy, why now?

I know you lot will say "ban him" or "shut the feck up" i know cuz i've read the postings here for 2 years now... nothing changes... i guess being an American I don't understand you're quirky British humor.

Cheers

You should probably post this in one of the six million other Roy Keane threads ;)

shut the feck up.

The main reason that the Keane threads keep appearing is because over here in the Emerald Isle there is still a lot of baggage hanging around from the World Cup. There is still a lot of bad feeling about the whole thing and people in Ireland are pretty much divided. Maybe the number of Keane threads give you an indication of the depth of feeling about what happened to our boy last May. I suppose if you're not Irish you wouldn't understand :(

Intelligent! He opens a thread about Roy keane to tell people to shut up about him

I'm not stupid Rory. Don't patronise me. All I'm saying is, why do you/we need loadsa Roy Keane threads of people expressing their thoughs, why can't it all be done in one thread...

If you don't want to read any more on ther Keane issue all you have to do is look at the subject title for each thread and chose to read or not read. It's that simple.

Isn't that obvious blythy. The Roy Keane story is the most complex story every written in the history of modern man. So we need loads of different threads to examine that story from loads of different angles. ;) .

I understand that this is a huge debate and the Keane/Book and Keane/world cup issues have had alot of media on them... I just don't see the point to having 50 different threads that say the same damn thing over and over... it's called being redundant. Obviously we're all aware of the facts and everyones opinions by now. I'll still support Keane until he interferes with United from playing well. If Keane brings about incidents that hurt the club then I'm sorry but thanks for the service Roy, you've been extremely loyal. If you are a United supporter and want what's best for the club than you will agree that Manchester United comes first.

Honestly we can only question the timing of this book... because every footballer makes tackles with intent at least sometimes I would know because I play for a club in the States... Does anyone really think the captain of any club should even think about putting his club into a mess like this? Hear me out, I'm not saying he is a bad Captain but he had to have known from playing with United for this long to know that the press are looking for every chance to crucify United and especially after the World Cup, Keane himself.

If you cannot take an honest look at this and realize this isn't helping our club win matches but instead distracting the squad from football itself then you are more ignorant than I expected from the land that has made Football the sport it is today.

Just cuz I'm american doesn't mean I don't bleed the red of United either... just maybe I'm more open minded than some..
