according to this he is roberto carlos' 'reserve' so that means he's a left-back..
maybe Mickey is going to be CB a lot more next season then, with this guy as big johns 'reserve'?
 
He is a good player but somehow doesn't convince me. He's been "the best Brazilian left back since Bobby Carlos" for about five years and has never quite lived up to it. Will he? Heard that story before haven't you?

Would be a useful squad player and at 4.5m it's not too bad a bet for a "may get to be the next Carlos", I suppose.

Can I really believe this article? Is it mis-quoting the guy? With all the transfer speculation, you'd think we would have heard about it by now.

I have a feeling 'channel 4' are bullshitting us.

why should we even consider a bloke who bombed out at his 1st attempt at european football? jkuve didnt want him around so they pissed him off back to brazil. does he cause too much hassle or is he the kind of guy that disrupts a squad? gotta be mindful of that
 
I havent seen any of him so I wont write him off yet, he is in the Brazil side to play next so maybe some of us will see something of him them. It doesnt really matter if he didnt make it at Juve though, its a different type of game.

You could make the exact same statement about Real and Cambiasso. Or Sorin and Juve... Young starlets don't always make it first time around and it also depends on the teams themselves...

It pains me to say it but if we had got Saviola I doubt he would have got much first team football at 18. Well, that's also a reason why we don't get such players in the first place!

id rather us spend the 4.8 mill on philip mexes, we have brown,nevilles,o shea,silvestre who are all adaptable across the back mexes would be ideal.Anyway i thought fergie was happy with the backline and his priorities were a striker,wide player and goalkeeper?
 
Well he want to get the hell out of flamingo(sorry for Spelling) so his agent link him with us, so that maybe some other club will take note of and will make some offer for him, or maybe they want a better deal from juve. <img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[No No]" />

i trust SAF but do u think it will take time for him to settle after what happen to veron and forlan?
