With Shaw out and now Young options at left back are very few.

Heard Mark Lawro talking on radio last night saying Cole could be an option until end of season.

Has he still got a little left in the tank, or is it a case of him just being a dick so 'do not want'?

What say the caf?
 
No way, he was beyond atrocious for Roma and there's no way he'll be able to cope in the EPL anymore.
 
A few years ago I'd have loved it, of course. But from what I've heard he's been diabolical recently.
 
I'd actually sooner get Vidic on a free and play him at LB. That's how shit Cole was for Roma.

Why would anyone think someone who can't hack it in the Italian league could hack it for United? Vidic thread, now this one. They used to be good. They're not any more. End of story.
 
I have to admit, when my hometown Atlanta finally got an MLS club, I was a bit conflicted as I'd taken to my new town's club since arriving in LA. Then, within a year, they go and sign probably the two players I hate the most in world football (and another racist thrown in for good measure). Not ashamed to admit they've made it easy to abandon them as quickly as I picked them up!

The wonders of the MLS. Support one team one week, and a different one the next....

I had the dubious honor of being somewhat involved in the bid process for one of the MLS expansion teams. Cannot say which. It was eye opening just how toxic and ridiculous the MLS management environment is. I used to go to a few galaxy games when Beckham was there, but the atmosphere was just fecking flat. Some feeble attempts at English type terrace chants, which would sound better at an NBA game - Let's go Galaxy, let's go - and then many times to the Chicago Fire. An experience I can only rate amongst the worst in professional sport that I've attended.

My company would get free season tickets to the Fire but none of us would ever go. You couldn't give that shit away. The last time they offered us some, we said no thanks, lol. Seattle and Toronto aside, and potentially NYRB, and occasionally the new Orlando team, it's an absolute shitehouse of a league.

Not sure why I went on this rant now. Might be the alcohol. Ashley Cole is shite.
