Since Forlan signed (22/1/2002), including all competitive matches for club and country, the stats are:

Heskey - 3455 minutes and 13 goals. A goal every 265.7 minutes

Forlan - 1732 minutes and 7 goals. A goal every 247.4 minutes.

i wonder whatever happened to Heskey.. he was so highly rated at some point wasn't he?

i remember him disappearing because of injury.. never the same player since..

forlan on the other hand is just shining his stars. i hope he keeps this up.. Forlan is a red!

personally i never rated the guy either. he was never a true striker. always showing up on the wings trying to cross the ball in. he's too big and too clumsy to be there for a start.

i support England as a national side, and Heskey is the only one in that team that i think doesn't deserve his place. esp in light of his recent poor performances.

how can you compare them, they are different players

yeah. you are only supposed to compare players to themselves.

-forlan is better than forlan!
-no, maybe last year..but not this year. now forlan is better than forlan.

To be perfectly honest, Heskey was really good when we was at Leicester, and that was largely due to the fact that he had a regular run in the team. At POO, he's been in an out of the squad, and when he does get a chance he's been played out of position on the wing. A lot has to do with the confidence your manager has in your abilites, frankly Houllier does not instill that kind of faith in you. His handling of Dudek and Westerveld is a perfect example,SAF has always kept his faith with Barthez, and that instills confidence in players. We have seen the same kind of trust in Forlan, SAF believed in his ability while the rest of us slagged Forlan for not scoring, Manager's can make or break players, and IMHO, Houllier has not done enough to inspire confidence in his players.

Let us make a new post Even Devilish is better than Heskey

Ohhh God who had decided that Heskey is a footballer?

A mystery that will never be solved

Unfortunately X Files had ended
