According to the Mail the following players will be in a clear out:

Eboue
Almunia
Clichy
Bendtner
Denilson
Arshavin
Rosicky

...no doubt, Fabregas's name will be floating around once again...

And the Mail reckon's the names on Wenger's mind are:

Baines
Hazard
Chamberlain
Neuer
Phil Jones

Not the kind of players Wenger usually buys as he prefers young, relatively unknown talent.

Arsenal clearout - Arshavin, Clichy and Bendtner are Gonners | Mail Online

Will be interesting to see how far Arsene is willing to go to get Hazard. Very far, I suspect, but hopefully one of Real and Barca decides to go all in for him as well.

So get rid of older, experienced players to bring in more youth again.

And so the kids saga repeats.

Arshavin, huh?

If Bender is sold do you think it will finally dawn on him that he is NOT the best striker in the world?

You couldn't really argue with many of those. Arshavin's the only one who's important to the first team and he's too patchy to be a top player. Clichy can be replaced with the sort of money they'd get for him and none of the rest are top players.

But I don't seen him going for that much player turnover in one season.

Wenger in 'rediscovers his testicles' shocker.

Almunia's not as bad as people say, he's just not cut out for a top team since he can't handle pressure, see Foster et al.

He'll get the shirt at a promoted/mid table team in La Liga. His performance against Barca won't have done him any harm.

His career total for Arsenal is 45 in 147, so he's a 1 in 3 striker.

he's not a 1 in 3 striker against decent opposition

Bendtner will be a cracking signing for a team who play in a system that would accommodate him. The problem is at Arsenal that he gets no crossing opportunities, and he gets no real playing time. Having a go at him for scoring goals against lower league teams is a bit harsh - those tend to be the games in which he gets 90 minutes.

I know I'll never win an argument here on the merits of Bendtner - but look when he moves on. He'll prove that he's actually got a lot of talent.
