You'd thing wenger would have learned his lesson.

according to today's guardian they've already booked their hotel for the final of the champions league.

undefeated season for them to come, no doubt, too.

I read a quote on teletext this morning where he (Wenger) used the exact words

'when we beat Valencia...'

No arrogance there. We did it in Cardiff a couple of years ago. It makes perfect sense and loads of teams do it.

To confess the truth I had never believed in Arsenal’s rise in prominence, but only believed in Manutd’s crisis. Call me mad but I really don’t rate Arsenal and Liverpool as a force but only as pressure groups that can grow dangerous only if Manutd let them be dangerous.

Ok last season these two teams beaten us but let us study our weaknesses well

 The team’s concentration was disrupted by SAF’s retirement ( In fact Last season’s campaign turned more like a farewell party rather than a serious championship fight)

Solved SAF signed a new contract

 The team had lost the charismatic touch of Steve Mc Claren

Solved Queroz was signed

 The defense was too weak to withstand a serious championship campaign

Solved . PPL like Rio and John O Shea had brought the strength needed in the defense

 The 4-4-1-1 formation

Solved SAF had returned to the 4-4-2 when needed while the 4-4-1-1 is slowly taking rhythm at OT

 The player’s had lost their battling spirit

Solved The gaffer took the entire team from the balls and are now giving their real best

Beating both Arsenal and Liverpool with a team nearly made up of reserves confirmed my theory

It was we that built Arsenal’s and Liverpool’s myth and no one else. Once we solved our problems they returned were they belong (behind us)

While I agree that Liverpool continue to flatter to decieve, Arsenal are a diffrent proposition.

They have world class players in Henry, Pires, and Viera; and very good players in most other positions.

They were worthy double winners last year, and are still top of the premiership, and not to give them credit for that is churlish and blinkered.

Scenario ...Man utd get to the CL final v whoever AT OT .

Three days before the match a hotelier phones The Sun saying " you won't believe this but I've had Alex Ferguson in here trying to block book us for a couple of nights ...apparently he did not know or think his side would make it to the final and so would you believe did not make any provision to stay at a decent hotel for the players .... I know it's incredible that a great club like Man Utd would be THIS disorganised !! "

Yea, they couldn't be Valencia, when Valencia was down to ten men and at Highbury. All they got was 0-0 draw. Hardly convincing.
