Arsenal might sign Fluminenses 15 year old Brazilian forward Wellington after the youngster impressed in his seven day trial at Ashburton Grove. Wellington played for 45 minutes against Norwich U-16, and scored four goals as Arsenal ran out 8-4 winners. Videos of him on the net seem to show that the lad has very good finishing skills, and the coaching staff were greatly impressed by his performance. His parents want him to move to England to join the likes of Denilson and Pedro Botelho, but Fluminense chairman Everton Cerqueira has said that he would like the boy to stay in Brazil.
I realy hope that this deal falls through, Wellington was voted Most Valued Player in the Manchester United Premier Cup 2008. He looks a fantastic prospect.
I guess Arsenal are doing the same that we did with the twins, agreeing a deal now, and getting them over to England when he turns 18...
I read some place that he's good friends with the twins, maybe they can make him understand that Wenger is no good for young boys
