Surely this is a game we will be more than up for.
Can you imagine if they secure the championship at O/T, we ain't going to let that happen.
I say we all out attack them as it's what we do best, play a 3-5-2 formation
My advice is to get on United at 5/4 to win with

I'd play
Barthez
Brown
Blanc
Silvestre
Scholes
Keane
Butt
Veron
Giggs
Ole
Ruud
Unstoppable

---------------------Barthez----------------------

Brown--------Blanc--------Johnsen--------Silvestre

Chadwick--------Scholes---------Keane--------Giggs

---------------Ole--------------Ruud--------------

I agree we have to go for broke. We have no cup finals to look forward to but the league is still there so we know what we have to do. Veron seems to be struggling with an archilles injury, but I feel I may just be making excuses for putting Roy and Scholes back together again. I may get a bit of stick for putting Chadwick in there, as it is only his second game this year, but we need a geniune RM to combat Arsenal's midfield. Butt has a case to play, but Ljungberg and Scholes hold the key to this game I think.

If Johnsen is fit I reckon this is our best option

---------------------Barthez----------------------
Brown--------Blanc--------Johnsen--------Silvestre

Forlan--------Scholes---------Keane--------Giggs

---------------Ole--------------Ruud--------------

Interesting one...

Il go for :

---------------------Barthez----------------------
Brown--------Blanc--------O Shea---------Silvestre

Forlan--------Keane---------Giggs----------Scholes

---------------Ole--------------Ruud--------------

Im playing Giggs and Scholes out of postion merely for the fact Giggs has recently been playing well in that central role, Forlan is on the right as he can drag defenders out wide maybe opening up gaps in the defence

Interesting Yaps, but if we are going to fiddle around with Giggsy's positions, maybe another idea would be for Solskjaer to go on that left-wing and Giggs to push up with Ruud as he has done so well this season. As for Forlan on the right, I fear this could be too big a game to play him out of position. After all, we are talking about a man struggling up to now in English football, and is yet to score, so it may be unwise to add pressure to him. We could test that idea of putting Diego on the wing in a game against smaller opposition ?

Aye very much so, as I said, it was an idea, your probably right that throwing him into a game like this is kinda a challenge for him, but players on occasions like this raise their game a little and good things usually happen...

But we'll see :)

Errmmmm...

Il get back to you on that one ;)

In the unlikely event that they are beating us with 5 mins to go
does anyone know somebody working at Norweb get em to do a power cut

Or maybe Diego can do his suicide bit?

i get very nervous when Babe wanders into the middle. it leaves us very narrow. Dave does it on the other side  and one of the most frustrating things about this season was the lack of wing attacks and whipped in crosses!
whatever combination floats your boat in midfield, Keane&Veron / Keane&Scholes, is fine just keep the man out wide.

watever team we play... its the arse ass that we are gonna whip!!!!
