I didn't even get to see the match on Sunday.

:(

Had to make do with the radio.

i think we should approach the match against the arse with slight caution, that is, no all out attack. they really got the players to hurt our defence on the counter, and henry seems like he's really on a roll right now.

i'd still prefer a 4-4-2 formation, unchanged from last week, possibly with the return of rio and maybe veron. ideally, veron should start on the bench, giving us the option of bringing him in when we need some creativity in our play. The midfield will be a warzone in the match, esp with viera around, and thus, not an ideal place to stick veron right into it.

i'll be hoping for another 2-1 win, it will be hard to prevent the arses from scoring. they'll nick a goal, maybe from henry, and i m willing to bet forlan scoring in his 3rd consecutive game!

Quite a prospect, isn't it for you Mancs??It's a truism these days to say that a game is won in midfield. In Vieira and Gilberto,we have probably the best midfield since Vieira and Petit. What SAF's tactics will be,I don't know, they might be unusually cautious, letting us have possession and trying to hit us on the break.Such counterattacking play is not really your style, but to some extent, that was a ploy adopted sunday against the Scousers with Forlan given what seemed to me a free role...sometimes deep and sometimes up supporting RVN.Maybe he is trying Forlan out in the Bergkamp role?Although,I have to say ,he is a long way from matching that.

I can't see you guys being so adventurous ,even though you are at home and this is not the Man Utd way,SAF will be scared of committing too much forward ,losing possession with your midfield too far away from your defence to stop Henry/Pires/Wiltord/ breaking at speed. So,don't expect such an open attacking game.We will almost certainly look to dominate possession, frustrating you into error.

The key ,I think will be Bergkamp. If he gets the room I think he will,he will find the telling pass. So,my prediction...We will not lose. The best you can hope for is a draw. :)

Dun get too confident yet, i bet most people said before sunday at Anfield that the most we can hope for is a draw, but i guess that is not what exactly happened right?

;)

We would still go out to attack, but most probably not like the game against newcastle. For god's sake, we are not Lilipool?!

forlan may not be in bergkamp's class yet, but i sure you would not follow in davo's footsteps, will ya? slag him off, and he scores against you.

EXCUSE ME? Who was the keeper in the nets in the World Cup last year? That was a gift to end all gifts. If he hadn't fecked up, England would have been in the final four and maybe playing Brazil.

Errr, excuse me ....but who played for you lot in goal last season at Highbury? And why do we Arsenal fans chant...'Barthez is a Gooner....Barthez is a Gooner'......per..leeze !

I think that Barthez was overcome by the "gases" that were let out during last season game. The gases were so strong that it knock the senses out of Barthez.I mean't that there were too much consumption of French onion soup by the numerous "players" before United v Ar-senile game.I hope that with Queiros around, United will be tactically aware and ensure the following; Equip Barthez with a gas mask, let Larry rest further to over recover from his flu and remind Silvestre to sing "Glory. Glory, Man. United" before the game. Otherwise, Play Ricardo Lopez and keep last week defensive line-up for the game.

Arsenal fans in singing shocker!

Muppets, the lot of you.

We should just remember how it felt after highbury last year, and how badly it hurt when the arse took our crown on our turf. That will fire us up and nothing will be able to stop us. Like five consecutive defeats was to last sunday, last season will be to saturday.

You mean the best arsenal midfield, surely? Nobody can deny Scholes and Keane have been the best CM pairing in the past few years.

It's a massive game on Saturday (to state the obvious)
Not only would a victory put us within 3 points of Arse, the psychological side of it would be massive considering the quality of player we have been missing all season.
I can't wait to see Keane,Butt,Beckham and Ferdinand all fit and available for selection again.
Can you imagine how hungry Keane will be after all that has gone by .
